The Redfeather® Guide adult snowshoes are designed with a Pivot rod hinge that does not lift the heel of the shoe on each step. This allows the tail to drag in the snow for added flotation and to keep the tips up for use in deeper snow. The Pilot bindings have an injection-molded frame for lateral support and 2 flexible plastic straps which criss-cross the boot's toe.
